Permanents are basically Audax routes that can be ridden at any time. The advantage being that you can either pick a time to suit yourself, if you have non-standard days off, or you can wait for good weather to complete the ride. More information can be found here. I organise 2 permanents. Details can be found below.

Grindleford Grimpeur
This is basically this year's Autumn in the Peak ride (or last year's Spring in the Peak.) For ease of controlling and a little variety it starts from Hathersage
then climbs over Abney, Longstone Edge, Monyash and Pilsbury Dale to Hartington. It returns by Youlgreave, Cressbrook Dale and Peveril to Hope, before climbing over Stanage to Fox House.

Hathersage - Elton - Roaches
This one is basically this year's Spring in the Peak ride (or last year's Autun in the Peak.) Again it starts from Hathersage and climbs
over Bradwell edge and Youlgreave to Elton, then via Hartington and Morridge to the Roaches before returning via Longnor to Hathersage.
